I have been known to keep
an immersion blender in my lunch bag.
Instead of a high powered blender or food processor, I used
an immersion blender in order to break up the skins of the beans.
Alternatively, you can use
an immersion blender in the soup pot to puree the soup.
Blend until smooth, or use
an immersion blender in the bowl to blend everything.
Blend until smooth or else mash with a fork, a potato masher or
an immersion blender in a bowl.
I highly recommend having
an immersion blender in your kitchen gadget arsenal, but if you don't here's a helpful post on how to puree hot soup in the blender without an explosion.
Let cool slightly, then transfer cauliflower mixture to a blender or use
an immersion blender in the pan and purée until smooth.

If you are using
an immersion blender in general you would choose a tall cylinder (many blenders come with a tall cup).
My picky eaters like «smooth» syrup so I take this extra step: Carefully pour strawberry sauce inside a blender (or stick
an immersion blender in the pot if you have one) and mix well until it's a thick sauce.

in the fridge and it thickened up into a great mayo - consistency
in about an hour.
