the impact of plant based diet vs plant based diet with a little portion of organic animal products.

based diet could reduce global mortality by 6 to 10 percent and reduce food - related greenhouse gas emissions by 29 to 70 percent.
The logic behind this is the positive
impact witnessed when abiding by a
plant -
based diet and the evidence -
based health benefits
of some
of the mentioned food groups.
Surely whatever improvements could be made to a
diet that excludes white flour and sugar and isn't
based entirely off meat don't negate the dramatic
impact eating a wide variety
of unrefined
plant foods could have on magnesium intake.
Some specifically turn to a
plant -
based diet to improve their health and well - being and eventually adopt the lifestyle because
of the numerous negative
impacts of animal agriculture on animals and the planet.
The documentaries «Food Matters», «Hungry for Change», «Cowspiracy», and especially «Forks Over Knives» are also all very interesting and keep their focus on the science and health benefits
of following a
plant -
based diet, along with the environmental
impact of the SAD (standard American
diet).
Although sustainability guidelines are unlikely to be included in the final version
of the 2015 Dietary Guidelines for Americans, the Advisory Committee included the following statement in their initial report: «Consistent evidence indicates that, in general, a dietary pattern that is higher in
plant -
based foods, such as vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, nuts and seeds, and lower in animal -
based foods is more health promoting and is associated with lesser environmental
impact (greenhouse gas emissions and energy, land, and water use) than is the current average U.S.
diet.
