The power and
impact of the film fall flat, as though there's a force field between the screen and the theater seats that stops any emotion dead in its tracks before it can reach the crowd.

of the
film localized to Mr. Six and his
impact on his neighbourhood, but it lost me as it got bigger and
fell into sentimentality.
Granted, there's repeated shots
of Cal's ancestor, Aguilar
of the crazy cool hoodie, doing the «leap
of faith,» and it's thrilling, even if the
film never bothers to explain how he survives it, always cutting away like a dream where you
fall off a cliff and wake up right before the moment
