Why It Matters: Passing laws to regulate carbon dioxide emissions, methane emissions, or industrial particles could have
an important effect on climate change.

effects of
climate change, offers us, in Eaarth, one of the most
important books
on environmental justice in the 21st century.
The research, which was to study the
effects of environmental stress due to
climate change on shrimp and other economically -
important species, was attacked as another example of wasteful government spending.
Therefore,
climate change may have a more negative
effect on the biological diversity of animals than previously assumed,» says Schleuning, and he adds, «A consideration of biotic interactions between animals and plants is therefore
important for predicting the impacts of
climate change on biodiversity.»
When studying the
effect of
climate change on biodiversity, it is
important to consider the
climate near the ground (microclimate) which a plant or an animal actually experiences.
«This is
important for being able to predict years of top - quality cava production, as well as for exploring the possible
effects and variations of
climate change on the quality» he concluded.
Based
on our results, the massive
changes that Arctic has already undergone (and will encounter over the 21st century) may have
important «far field»
effects on our planet's
climate.»
While the warming atmosphere and higher humidity can provide more energy for these storms, the
climate change effects on wind shear, another
important element in storm development, is still an active topic of research.
Indirect
effects of
climate change on forests include disturbance — a key component of forest ecology — and may be more
important, immediate, and longer lasting than direct
effects.
Working
on climate change is
important because
climate change can
effect so many of the things we take for granted.
However, the sun provides an abundant source of energy and by
changing the earth's radiative balance so that we absorb a little more of that energy, we are having an
important effect on the earth's
climate.
pg xiii This Policymakers Summary aims to bring out those elements of the main report which have the greatest relevance to policy formulation, in answering the following questions • What factors determine global
climate 7 • What are the greenhouse gases, and how and why are they increasing 9 • Which gases are the most
important 9 • How much do we expect the
climate to
change 9 • How much confidence do we have in our predictions 9 • Will the
climate of the future be very different 9 • Have human activities already begun to
change global
climate 9 How much will sea level rise 9 • What will be the
effects on ecosystems 9 • What should be done to reduce uncertainties, and how long will this take 9 This report is intended to respond to the practical needs of the policymaker.

But the GFDL study is based

important evidence suggesting that

The other thing that I think is really
important to watch is the possibility of a
climate deal with China, and that could be really, really
important, because you've basically got the two
climate change superpowers finally coming together
on this, and if they created some kind of an agreement to limit emissions, even that could have the de facto
effect of creating a global carbon price.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Detailed new research into when global warming will start to have a serious
effect on local
climates has produced the shock finding that it could happen much sooner than scientists have previously predicted London, 9 October — Catastrophic
climate change may begin sooner than anyone expected --- and the first place to feel the heat could be a small but
important city in Indonesia.
It aims to provide a review of the literature
on crop pollination, with a focus
on the
effects of
climate change on pollinators
important for global crop production, and to present an overview of available data
on the temperature sensitivity of crop pollinators and entomophilous crops.
As the controversy over the proposed rules continues to unfold, two
important questions loom: What is the likelihood that these new regulations will actually be put into
effect, and how big an impact would they have
on the fight to slow
climate change?
We instead conclude that solar forcing probably had a minor
effect on Northern Hemisphere
climate over the past 1,000 years, while, volcanic eruptions and
changes in greenhouse gas concentrations seem to be the most
important influence over this period.
One
important determinant of how much
climate will
change is the
effect of so - called «feedbacks» in the
climate system, which can either dampen or amplify the initial
effect of human influences
on temperature.
Therefore, ending their financing for fossil fuel projects would have a significant
effect on mitigating
climate change — an
important piece of keeping global warming below 1.5 degrees Celsius and honoring the commitments made as part of the Paris agreement last year.
«We have focused
on the U.S. economy, although the bulk of the economic damage from
climate change will be borne outside of the United States (42), and impacts outside the United States will have indirect
effects on the United States through trade, migration, and possibly other channels» — In other words they ignored the indirect
effects which are extremely
important hence their study is to put it mildly rubbish.
Competition showed strong
effects on all three demographic rates, whereas regional
climate change was equally
important in affecting tree mortality, but its
effects on tree growth and recruitment were limited.
We explore the regional differences in the
effects of exposure to high temperature variability — an
important consequence of
climate change —
on a particularly vulnerable demographic group: infants.
As a result of our recent Global Science Report
on global warming ruining our bananas, one of our fans directed our attention to an
important effect of
climate change that we somehow missed, back in 2008, when the alarmists at the BBC wrote that it was threatening haggis.
E.g., research assumes greenhouse gas emissions cause warming without explicitly stating humans are the cause»... carbon sequestration in soil is
important for mitigating global
climate change» (4a) No position Does not address or mention the cause of global warming (4b) Uncertain Expresses position that human's role
on recent global warming is uncertain / undefined «While the extent of human - induced global warming is inconclusive...» (5) Implicit rejection Implies humans have had a minimal impact
on global warming without saying so explicitly E.g., proposing a natural mechanism is the main cause of global warming»... anywhere from a major portion to all of the warming of the 20th century could plausibly result from natural causes according to these results» (6) Explicit rejection without quantification Explicitly minimizes or rejects that humans are causing global warming»... the global temperature record provides little support for the catastrophic view of the greenhouse
effect» (7) Explicit rejection with quantification Explicitly states that humans are causing less than half of global warming «The human contribution to the CO2 content in the atmosphere and the increase in temperature is negligible in comparison with other sources of carbon dioxide emission»»
The ALJ first concluded that «the FSCC underestimates the negative
effects that increased warming will have
on human health» and that the FSCC models «do not account for a significant number of
important environmental impacts which will occur as a result of
climate change.»
Passage of Initiative 732 would be an
important step forward in combating
climate change and... stemming the worst
effects on low - income people and
on the ecosystem that sustains us all.
«We congratulate the Interior Department
on taking these two
important steps toward protection of the Arctic Ocean from the threats of drilling in this fragile ecosystem which is experiencing the
effects of
climate change at a faster rate than anywhere else
on earth,» Earthjustice attorney Erik Grafe said in a statement.
Nonetheless, the rapid and often asymmetric growth of this interdisciplinary field has left
important knowledge gaps that require urgent attention: (i) what are the
effects of ocean acidification and
climate change on species interactions?
Some recent coupled models have achieved a stable
climate without the use of flux adjustments and an
important question to ask is what is the
effect of flux adjustment
on changes in variability.
