Why to Watch Her in 2016: She's got
an impressive set of films hitting, including movie star party «Magnificent Seven» and the crime thriller «The Girl on the Train.»

film is in native tongue («Apocalypto» beats this in the fact its all in native tongue which was darn
impressive) and the locations used are actually the correct real historic locations, not many

of a crumbling death trap with plenty
of water, fire, rubble, metal debris and sparking electrics into the brew.
One
of the most
impressive things
of Bahrani and Bahareh Azimi «s script is that it
sets up scenes which could have followed into much more dramatic outcomes but the writers chose to take the road less traveled and in an odd way, by taking the less dramatic approach, the
film removes itself that much further from the majority
of indie
films that concern themselves with cramming the most amount
of drama into the least amount
of time.
Set in the rural West, the
film features an
impressive cast that includes Laura Dern, Michelle Williams, Kristen Stewart, and newcomer Lily Gladstone, all complex and resilient characters, yet individuals who resist any outward expression
of their inner feelings.
The
film runs for a taut 83 minutes, and part
of what's
impressive about it is how economically, in a wholly unobtrusive way, it
sets up the conflict between the two leading characters, an executive and a woman roughly half her age.
Upon man meeting the man who was The Shape in Halloween IIat an intimate screening
of the
film in Williamsburg, Virginia (you can read about it here), I was simply in awe, not only
of his entertaining storytelling style but also candid humor and unbelievably
impressive wealth
of tales from some
of the most iconic movies
sets in history.
In the center
of the story, we also get some
of the most
impressive action
set - pieces
of the
film, such as the re-enactment in the Colosseum
of the battle
of Carthage.
This is Grunberg's first feature
film, but he has worked as an assistant director for the likes
of Peter Weir, Oliver Stone, Tony Scott and even Gibson himself, which equipped him with the experience to craft
impressive set - pieces.
Indeed, the studio have already
set the movie for a May 2014 release for «Belle,» in part to try and replicate the
impressive success
of «Best Exotic Marigold Hotel,» and in part because there are internal worries that between McQueen's
film and TWC's «Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom» and «Fruitvale Station,» there are too many
films with black leads for «Belle» to get traction (We'd argue there's room for them all, but you can see the logic, given the Academy's tastes).
Emmerich has had several attempts at world - ending destruction, and although each
of the aforementioned
films was
impressive in its time, 2012
sets a new standard for large - scale disaster porn.

impressive cinematography and lighting, along with the use
of interconnected
sets and intimate close - ups, this was a
film that pushed things forward as far as storytelling through the
film medium.
Hitchcock
set the
film in London, making the most out
of picturesque locations such as Covent Garden, with low - caliber gangsters, prostitutes and merchants providing an
impressive background for the action.
Speaking
of which - with Civil War, directors Anthony and Joe Russo (who also helmed The Winter Soldier) deliver some
of the most
impressive superhero - based fight scenes and
set pieces featured in any Marvel Studios
film yet, in terms
of both the sheer scale and creativity
of the Avenger vs. Avenger battles.
It's actually kind
of impressive how far out
of his way screenwriter Nicholas Stoller went to not come up with a coherent story, and then you remember that he's written some funny movies that had a story (the two most recent Muppets

of being cheated

film's austerity.

film meets a disappointing twist in Act Three.
Also, the
film contains several virtual - reality type sequences that push the limits
of mixing both practical
sets and CGI (Computer Generated Imagery), especially one visually
impressive sequence involving a virtual reality experience where Tris is trying to rescue her mother from a burning house floating in air amongst the ruins
of Chicago that also incorporates standout stunt choreography.
Certainly there are things to love; Bilbo's character progression and his untimely addiction to one precious ring is welcome (although not nearly as prominent as it ought to be), the
set design and telescopic vistas are almost as epic as ever, seeing the majesty
of gold - diggin» dragon Smaug realized in
impressive CG tantalizes the little boy in me (the one who listened to The Hobbit audiobook until it wore out), and one particularly fun scene involving dwarves in a barrel is a blatant
film highlight; but other elements that ought to stand out fall flat on their face and never recover.
The
film has a tremendous amount
of stunts that I have to admit make for
impressive set pieces.
The
film features an
impressive cast that includes Wannell himself along with The Faculty star Elijah Wood returning to horror in a high school
setting in the story
of a virus that hits a small Illinois town and turns the young children into deadly little monsters little monsters.
