I do nt know where everything else fits in, but
in OoT, he traps Ganon in the Sacred Realm, and then sets off on a quest into the forest to find an old friend (the skull kid he meets in the lost woods.
I've always looked at the Wind Waker universe as a refreshing change from the more typical medieval fantasy world seen
in OoT and TP.

There are indeed great dungeons included in these games but if I remember back to annoying and frustrating dungeons like «City in the Sky «from Twilight Princess (people always complain about the Water Temple
in OOT).

Honestly, I was really hoping I'd get the same excitement I always feel whenever I use sequence break glitches
in OOT to do things in a crazy order.

in OoT which would then change any romantic interests like the girl at the lon lon ranch being a rough and tumble farm raised kid / cowboy, or princess ruto still being just a pushy guy trying to force his way into marriage with link.
Heck just pushing OOT to the 3ds took considerable more work (and they missed many textures
in OOT) than Wind Waker HD.

According to Aonuma, Nintendo believed at that time than an annualization of the series would be possible, thanks to Ocarina of Time being
in 3D and the models being able to be reused, versus having to draw all new sprites, as Zelda games were 2D before the release of
OoT.

OOT holds the crown, After putting around 150 + Hours

in 2003, I think It represented a better narrative of the whole sea overworld, I was thankful they didn't use the

I loved Majora's Mask a lot more than
OoT... so seeing them continue to experiment again (both
in visual style and the water rather than land travel) got me insanely stoked to play it.

in common with

OOT cus it wasn't a Sega / Sony exclusive, now we see fanatics trying to influence even top reviewers for this shit daily.
Not a full sequel, but definitely more than a mere v1.5, this game has had a near - complete overhaul that puts the Zelda
OoT: Master Quest version to shame as it as much as quadruples the amount of content
in places, and overhauls much of the returning content (such as the reworked puzzles, and spoken dialogue being added to a game that was previously text - only).
To me, it all looks like BotW takes place
in the Fallen Hero timeline, right after
OoT.
Puzzles to me are everything (the puzzles
in BotW are really really cool from what I played) and
OoT had better puzzles and more dungeons, save ALttP.
BotW may end up being the best
in the series, but Majora, ALttP, and TWW beat out
OoT easily.
OoT may seem easy now but it was a challenge when it came out and we had to completely change our train of thought, playing Zelda
in 3D for the first time.

I'll be honest, back
in the heyday of the Gamecube (if there was one), I was one of those people who viewed the aesthetic leap from
OOT to The Wind Waker with no small displeasure.
That makes three splits: one
in which Adult Zelda exists, Ganondorf is sealed, and Link is non-existent (the «Adult» timeline), one which picks up at the very beginning of
OoT and leads into MM and the execution scene from TP (the «Child» timeline), and one which picks up from the point at which Ganondorf managed to enter the sacred realm, but
in which there is also no Link... which leads to the Imprisoning War from the ALttP intro.
What NoJ says, is that this Link is actually
OoT Link
in a parallel universe.
I think Kale's theory is by far the one that makes the most sense: If you look back at
OoT, you may notice the ending to be

OoT, MM Magic Beans are really handy
in Ocarina of Time because they allow you access to a handful of heart pieces as an adult if you take the time to plant them as a child.
Well, to many,
OoT is the «neutral Zelda», or the one benchmark every other game
in the franchise is measured against and compared with.
Though it recycled a huge percentage of
OoT «s visual assets
in the name of saving development time, Majora's Mask managed to flip the heroic, grand scale of its predecessor on its head and put the character models to use
in a scarier, more urgent and,
in my opinion, more memorable context that still feels unique not only to the Zelda series, but to all of gaming.
But 2011 brought with it the magnificent Ocarina of Time 3D portable remaster, a version of the undisputed classic that
in my opinion added just enough tiny improvements to lift
OoT above the cel - shaded gem.
Hyrule 2 happens after the end of
OoT with Link defeating Gannon as and adult and Zelda sending him back
in time.
A spruced - up
OoT clone that took a lengthy period of time to develop, Twilight Princess fails
in several places.
