Following some Twitter discussion (must get
Storify working properly for things like this) Chris Berg pointed to a piece he'd written arguing against such a use of secondary boycott legislation (and against such legislation
in general).
Instead, they use it at every step
in the process, including some creative ways to use Pinterest to identify trends, and
Storify to curate content related to a study.
Interestingly, he explores this question using
Storify, a website that lets you combine bits of microblogging into something more sustained and intelligible,
in this case posts on Twitter by people
in the PR business, with his set - up and commentary as mortar.
First, Yokum Taku introduced «convertible equity»
in an attempt to address the potential downsides (for entrepreneurs) of convertible debt, which set off a debate that Antone Johnson spectacularly
Storified.
(I'd also add we open them
in new tabs, save them to our Notes app, email them to ourselves, Instapaper their links, or create private Twitter Moments or
Storify collections, among other things.)
In the upper right - hand quadrant are services that enable users to interact with Tweets, like the Tweet curation service
Storify or the Tweet discovery site Favstar.fm.
If it really wanted to, Twitter could not only use its own algorithms to generate aggregated content
in interesting ways, it could start to accumulate a suite of tools that allow users and even journalists to do the same — whether it's something like
Storify or Storyful (which has a paid - for Pro version that helps media companies verify and fact - check the content they are collecting) or another curation / discovery service like Prismatic or Percolate, or even a consumption and recommendation app like Flipboard.
