Instead of sprinkling the paprika over the finished egg, sprinkle it BEFORE the yolks have been piped in (P.S. Once you have thoroughly beat that mixture together, put it
in a piping bag or a
ziploc sandwich baggie and set aside.
If you can wiggle them out of the molds carefully, store them
in a
Ziploc baggie
in the freezer (you can fit 2 - 3
in a
sandwich - size bag) so they can harden further outside the molds.
When I travel, I use large
Ziploc ® brand storage bags for my shoes, and snack or
sandwich bags to separate cosmetics and items that might explode or leak
in transit (e.g., lotions, contact lens saline).
Now, close it all up, cut it
in triangles (or squares or ovals or whatever your child is demanding on this particular day), throw it
