in all those settings.
I am not aware of any
birthing facility that offers fresh, healthy, organic food and filtered water, but if there is one, I suspect it's a birth
center or rather, one that allows you to bring your own food just
as one would provide
in their own home birth.
The last option (which I have done twice) is for the gestational carrier to nurse the baby upon birth and through the first day or few days,

birthing center (following this she may continue to pump for the baby).

If mothers want to use a
birthing center as a delivery option it is best to be evaluated by a doctor before making any decision, because high - risk pregnancies do not qualify for this type of
center because they do not have the equipment or trained staff if the mother needs to get
in the operating room.
In fact, if I had stayed at the hospital instead of at the
birthing center, I would've hired her
as my doula.
