There's plenty of room for four adult passengers and cargo in the pleasant interior, and with the rear seats folded down you can carry more than you'd ever think
possible in a car of its size.
It'll get the job done promptly enough, and it's certainly not a huge pain to live with, but we do feel an engine
in a car of this size does need a wee bit more grunt.
It can be placed with pinpoint accuracy and turns in with a lightness of touch
unprecedented in a car of its size and weight, locking onto the apex of even the tightest bends with minimal coercion from the helm.
The
ride in a car of this size will always be pretty good, it's a lot easier to give a smaller car stiffer springs and sharper steering response, but the chassis is actually up to the task too being nice and taught — more so in the hatch than the sedan.
Peugeot's small steering wheel concept just doesn't work that
well in a car of this size and the Skoda Kodiaq feels sharper to drive.
It's a new
sensation in a car of this size, and it makes you realize just how much buzzing and rumbling an internal combustion engine does, even under the best of circumstances.
Not so much: >> Seats could be better >> Head room tight for taller passengers >> Boot space lacking in a car of this size
Issues begin up front with the engine: It's smooth as glass, seamlessly coupled to an eight - speed automatic, but Audi's 4.2 - liter V8 feels just
adequate in a car of this size.
Trunk capacity is reduced, too, and
in a car of this size, it really is an oversight.

I would have never been able to do
this in another car of this size.
