I love that you suggested to cook
in a cast iron skillet because that's exactly how I get my iron!

I added bacon to the mix (
because most everything is better with bacon), frying it
in a
cast iron skillet, and then using the bacon grease to brown and caramelize the onions and butternut squash.
Our easy but yummy favorites take very little time, mostly
because I buy frozen chicken tenderloins that I quickly steam and then brown
in my trusty
cast iron skillet.
I made two modifications due to my kitchen supplies — I cooked the whole thing
in a large
cast iron skillet (turned out beautifully, took about the same amount of time) and used shallots
because I was out of green onions.
Obviously, it is the best thing ever to come out of an oven
because it involves both meat and carbohydrates, and is baked
in a
cast -
iron skillet to boot.
Because you're cooking
in a
cast -
iron skillet, you don't have to make it on the grill, but, if you do, you can blister those green beans with abandon and not worry about your smoke alarm going off.

I use an 8» round aluminum pan
because I don't have a
cast iron skillet (yet) and sometimes substitute the egg for one tablespoon of flaxseed whisked
in three tablespoons of hot water.
And if you need more proof, MCTs have actually been used for years
in hospitals
in patients who are having malabsorption issues
because they are so easily digested.By the way, I am actually cooking an egg
