stories, and poetry — lists the estimated time it will take for a reader to read a piece.
Flash fiction is always good practice

Using established tales, you can compress your
story, and good
flash fiction must be richly condensed
in order to expand
in a reader's mind.
I would also say
flash fiction is related to poetry, but only when it comes to the economic use of the most effective words and by creating impressions
in the mind of the reader, forcing the reader to «sense» the
story.
