I've made your banana bread / cake recipe
made in a loaf pan twice in 2 weeks and have bananas and an egg white designated for my third batch.
I like to bake
bread in a loaf pan which is a little narrower and longer than standard, but any loaf pan will do.
Let banana bread cool
in loaf pan for about 15 minutes, then move to a plate or cooling rack to cool completely.
Remove from the oven and allow to
cool in the loaf pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
I have made cinnamon rolls many times, and also rolled balls of dough in cinnamon sugar and
put in a loaf pan.
Place
batter in loaf pan and place in the oven for 60 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Just remove the ceramic liner and place just the rack in there, and place the
dough in the loaf pan on top of it.
The best thing about this bread is that you put ALL ingredients into a blender then
pour in a loaf pan!
Spread a little bit of coconut oil
in a loaf pan so that the bread doesn't stick and put the mixture in it.
You could also make this as a bread, just
cook in a loaf pan for 50 - 60 minutes, testing after 50 minutes with a toothpick.
I really like that you can make a half
recipe in a loaf pan, so I am looking forward to trying this.
You'll want to place some parchment
paper in the loaf pan that over hangs by two inches so it's easier to pull out the bread.
This recipe would easily make awesome muffins or like I did —
in a loaf pan sliced thicker then in half like a brownie.
If you are running out of room in your freezer, 6 of these treats
fit in a loaf pan, and would save space.
I have made it on a baking sheet with okay results, but it didn't turn out
well in a loaf pan.
Place about one half of the swirl mixture on top of the batter
already in the loaf pan and spread it gently into an even layer.
Spread in loaf pan and bake for 50 - 55 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out with a few moist crumbs.
For convenience, I have however divided the dough into two, simply rolled them up and place each
one in each loaf pan.
Allow the pumpkin bread to cool for at least 10 to 15
minutes in the loaf pan, then transfer it to a wire rack to finish cooling for another 30 minutes before slicing.
Bake for 1
hour in a loaf pan, 35 - 45 minutes in a small loaf pan or 22 - 25 minutes in a muffin pan.
Don't let the need for an ice cream machine throw you off; you can also make this in a food processor and
freeze in a loaf pan.
The batter is thick enough that it's pretty easy to shape a
bit in the loaf pan, if you're so inclined.
If you don't want to make these
rolls in a loaf pan, you can make traditional overnight cinnamon rolls in a square baking pan.
Best of all, because it
comes in a loaf pan, I can call it «bread» and eat it for breakfast, too.
If you are placing the
candies in a loaf pan, remove from the freezer after 30 minutes and cut into 9 — 1 1/2 inch cubes, or however many cubes you wish.
