Transfer to a medium sized
bowl, stir
in the parsley, and serve with
pita wedges or
pita chips.
All you do is cut your
pita into 8 wedges (or triangles), place them
in a
bowl with a bit of olive oil and toss to LIGHTLY coat the
pita chips.
I'll never pass on a

Of course this Hummus Basar was made
in jars
in the spirit of Purim, but feel free to make this recipe and serve Israeli style,
in a big
bowl with lots of fresh
pita for dipping!
In a large
bowl, toss together the
pita wedges, olive oil and smoked paprika to coat.
Toss the toasted
pita pieces
in a drizzle of oil to prevent them from getting soggy
in the salad
bowl.
The falafel is great not
in a
bowl, too, so you could have it
in a more traditional
pita, maybe, or as part of a salad.
I didn't have any
pita, as I have yet to sneakily liberate some from a dining hall acquire some
in an ethically sound manner, but it was just as delicious
in a
bowl with sliced avocado.
To prepare the salad toss the spinach with the
pita in a large
bowl, then add the dates and onion, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt.
Make a big batch to freeze and then serve all week long as sliders, on grain
bowls,
in pita sandwiches, and more.

Toss cubes of chicken
in a
bowl with a bit of sauce and place
in warm
pita bread with slices of salted cucumber, tomato, and very thinly sliced red onion.
Tear the
pita breads into bite - sized pieces, then toss with the other ingredients
in the
bowl.
Enjoy falafel
in a big salad
bowl with lots of veggies like this one (mine has beets, carrots, broccoli, cilantro,
pita chips and a drizzle of tahini) or
in whole wheat
pita or just straight up.
Combine the za'atar spice mix and extra-virgin olive oil
in a
bowl or jar and drizzle over the
pita.
We usually serve it alongside assorted vegetables, crackers,
pita bread OR
in a fresh sour dough bread
bowl!
