I haven't 100 % the game either, given the bonus bosses
in boss rush mode; unless I suddenly decide to remaster the game, I likely won't.
That's correct, even in modes such as The Ultimate Choice, which limits recovery items
in a boss rush mode, the game is pretty easy but that's okay.
You can tackle challenges to attempt a level in a specific time, or to go through boss fights
in a boss rush mode.
Not exact matches
All of that being said, there are only 5 courses plus a
boss rush mode to play
in this new multiplayer component which is quite disappointing.
In fact, Mighty No.9 will appear on 3DS, Wii U, Mac, Linux, PS Vita, Playstation 4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U, and will also include a multitude of other additions opened by the stretch goal marks, such as a challenge
mode, additional stages,
boss rush mode, and more.
In Boss Rush mode, players battle through challenging
boss encounters consecutively, while Time Attack
mode encourages time - based gameplay and provides online leaderboards that track the fastest times for each game.
Platinum showed off a flexible difficulty / betting system for what amounts to a
boss rush mode, and it looks like gobs of fun — it will have both strategic depth (timing when and where to rescue your fallen comrade) and relevancy to the main game (earning currency you can spend
in the single player campaign).
There are ton of unlockables, and they are more interesting than
in previous entries, with things like 3 vehicles for each stage or a
boss rush mode.
The most recent example is Borderlands 2, which,
in co-op
mode, allows you to effectively suicide -
rush most
bosses over and over until you eventually win.

For the hardest of the hardcore, Boss
Rush: Time Attack
mode lets players take on all the
bosses in the game, one right after the other!
A
boss rush mode was added, but it is only unlocked after completing everything else
in the game.
You'll also unlock a «
boss rush»
mode after completing the game, tasking you to work through each of the game's
bosses in quick succession.
Battle Colosseum
in One Piece: Unlimited World Red is comprised of a few sub-modes — Battle Royale (which is a free - for - all
in where two to four characters can duke it out), Duel competition (where players battle one - on - one, kind of like a VS
mode), Boss
Rush (a survival
mode that pits players against
bosses one after the other), and Chaos Battle (allows players to take on multiple, less powerful enemies).
As
in all Mega Man games you fight off on eight
bosses,
in which after you travel to fight three additional
bosses, do a
boss rush mode, and of course fight the final
boss.
This version will even have a few advantages
in that there will be the mansion map on the bottom screen and a
boss rush mode.
New to the series is a Boss
Rush mode, allowing you to take on all of the four
bosses in the game.
Kirby: Planet Robobot also comes packaged with a multiplayer
mode that gives multiple players a chance to play as different Kirby's to fight large
bosses in an RPG-esque
boss rush mode.
Other single - player
modes include the game's «arcade»
mode, which is actually just a survival
mode where I would have to win successive battles against increasingly difficult enemies, a
boss rush mode that takes place exclusively
in the spell card state and forces players to dodge as many bullets as they can, and a standard versus
mode.
This
mode will have several mix - up mini quests for you to test your skills at; you'll have wave - based challenges where you fight off increasingly difficult hordes to see how long you can survive as you level up,
boss rush runs, speed runs and other odd
modes that wouldn't typically fit
in the main game.
So, with all that said, here's what you get with Sonic
Rush: fourteen medium - length linear 2D Sonic the Hedgehog levels full of loops and ramps, seven 3Desque
boss encounters, two playable characters that play identically to one another and traverse the exact same path through the exact same levels, a time attack
mode, seven bonus stages
in the style of Sonic the Hedgehog 2's bonus half - pipe, and one final hidden level if all seven emeralds are collected.
The Arena is essentially a
boss rush mode, pitting you against both mini and regular
bosses in a row with a hub world
in - between that gives you a breather and limited health regeneration.
Duel
mode acts like a
boss rush mode as it allows players to relive the duels featured
in the campaign
mode without the riffraff's of going through the shooting gallery of cannon fodder enemies.
As noted earlier, there's two game
modes: «Score
Rush» is the game's version of a campaign where you defeat wave after wave of increasingly more powerful enemies, broken up by
bosses with no saving
in between.
