Sauce is my fall inspired take on Penne Alla Vodka with penne pasta coated
in fresh roasted Pumpkin Vodka
Cream Sauce, parmesan cheese, and fresh basil.
I decided to share these two
recipes in separate posts since Arugula Pesto was vegan and this
recipe does not like the «vegan» word:) I mean, heavy
cream and nutty parmesan are two key components of any good creamy pesto
sauce, almost irreplaceable for me.
I was excited that this
recipe didn't contain any sour
cream or even butter
in the enchilada
sauce.

Hi there, As stated
in the
recipe, you should use heavy
cream for the
sauce.
I substituted the strawberry ice
cream in the Cooking Light
recipe for chocolate and made my own fudge
sauce to go
in between layers and on top.
I also made a caramel
sauce using coconut milk recently and might try this
recipe the same way, since I don't usually have heavy
cream in the house.
And here is the
recipe — the
recipe comes
in 4 parts — making the ravioli stuffing, making the ravioli pasta, making the
cream sauce, and finally, assembly.
And instead of cups and cups of powdered sugar
in a standard
cream cheese frosting
recipe, we're going to stir
in melted caramel
sauce.
It is great
in smoothies,
cream sauces, or as a yogurt replacement
in some
recipes.
Tortellini Soup with Spinach and Tomatoes — Often times tortellini is stuffed with cheese and loaded with
cream - based
sauces on top, but this
recipe is a nice twist because it is actually a tortellini soup with spinach and tomatoes added
in.
The only substitution that I made to the original
recipe was to sub the heavy
cream in the
sauce for plain yogurt.
All the ingredients used
in this
recipe are from scratch: cookie crust, pizza
cream cheese
sauce, and the caramel.

sauce as getting a chewy texture once it comes
in contact with the cold ice
cream, which was heralded as the sign of a great fudge
sauce.
While we're talking
sauce, this one only uses low fat milk instead of
cream or whole milk
in typical
recipes.
I looked around online and found several
recipes for preserved hot fudge
sauce but none of them had
cream in them.
The
cream cheese used
in this
recipe gives the
sauce a creamy rich texture.
It's a really versatile
recipe, the caramel
sauce can be used as a dip for fruit, drizzled on raw banana ice
cream (freeze chopped bananas and blend
in a food processor to create healthy ice
cream), stirred into oats or even used to sweeten smoothies or hot chocolate.
