They help companies share information that could be given
in basically any format — a
blog post, an
ebook, or even a series of emails.
I'm curious as to why you would consider your
eBook as passive if,
in general, your advertising income from the
blog is not.
Instead, if on the same post you offer me an
eBook on «How to find your perfect job» - a topic that is only loosely related to the
blog post - you are making an assumption that just because I'm interested
in interviewing, I'm automatically interested
in finding a new job.
For example, you can use the tool to create a form that
blog visitors can fill out
in order to gain access to an
ebook or worksheet you put together.
And with more businesses trying to produce high - quality written resources — like
blog posts,
ebooks, white papers, and newsletters — there's tons of room
in the freelance market for a wordsmith like you.
However,
in the case of a person like me without a large
blog readership, would it make sense for me to invest a ton of time creating an
eBook if I don't have a platform standing behind me from which to market the product?

Common tactics include things like creating 5 versions of an
ebook using different keywords
in the titles and changing up examples or deconstructing a large white paper into 15
blog posts covering uber - niche topics.

blog posts work together
in an
ebook offering?
Then, we gave the graphics a much needed facelift (optional), and relaunched the offer by writing new
blog posts about blogging (how meta) and using the
ebook in our lead nurturing emails.
But whether they're drafting an
ebook, writing a
blog post, or producing a webinar, they usually have different goals
in mind for the content they're creating.
This becomes even easier with
ebooks as you can actually include links
in your
ebooks back to your
blog posts.
But with an
eBook, if I'm on a web - enabled device like the iPad, I can click on the link
in the
eBook, and go watch the video, or access the author's
blog and ask him a question, or buy the book on Amazon that he referenced.
We'd first met through food
blogs (a story you can read more about
in our
ebook), so the idea that we'd grow together around the table makes good sense.

In the 21st century, authors need to be doing more than looking into Internet marketing,
ebooks,
blogs and
blog book tours.
