It reminded me a bit of
Echochrome games, which also asked you change perceptions and unlearn some of what you know about moving around
in a video game world.
echochrome takes a vast number of liberties with its design and implementation of its gameplay mechanics, and will leave you feeling like there's still plenty of freshness to be found
in the medium of gaming.
On the subject of twisting the world to suit your needs,
Echochrome takes this to a brand new level, allowing players to manoeuvre a pre-existing path
in order to create a brand new one.

in 2011.
I instantly found similarities
in other games —
echochrome and Limbo —
in Escape Plan's appearance, level design and gameplay.
The music is very similar to
echochrome in that it's relaxing and generally classy.
But the majority of
echochrome ii doesn't require such incredible subtlety and
in fact, if you try to move fast, you might accidentally bump your «shadow» off its block to his demise.
All
in all,
echochrome ii is definitely a worthy sequel to its predecessor.
