holidays right around the corner, I've been
in such a pie -
baking mood.
This particular
holiday isn't a very big deal
in my household, but as a lover of beer, getting the chance to add a little to my
baking is quite fine by me.
The rules have changed, so likely you can't deliver your home -
baked pie to the local homeless shelter kitchen anymore, but there are so many ways to serve

I made it as written many times, but as I gained more knowledge and confidence
in my
baking, I made a few adjustments and have had it
in my
holiday repertoire ever since.
I made several batches last year when this was first posted and have made about 6 batches
in the last week for
holiday parties and gifts using both a # 24 and # 30 scoop (
baking about 18 minutes).
