in Santa Monica, I used to buy those potted herb
gardens from Trader Joe's and try to keep them alive on my
kitchen windowsill — no dice.
Plans for later
in the season include intimate outdoor seating for cocktails and snacks on the front lawn and by the
kitchen garden.
Summertime means easy access to fresh produce and this year we have our own
kitchen garden with lots of veggies to use
in our cooking.

in December 2008, as both a place to journal my food adventures and a jumping off point into the wide virtual world of cooks, their
