A more constructive way
of thinking is that the dog, being a dog, has a utterly different way
of experiencing the world than you and is behaving
in unacceptable ways due to genetics,
early socialization (or the
lack thereof), prior training (ditto), or traumatic events, otherwise known as single event learning.
If this aggression is due to a
lack of experiences
in adolescence or
early adulthood, one way to prevent it would be to continue
socialization well into adulthood.
She tends to be wary meeting other dogs, probably due to her
