in the Line Editing post, in my experience, line editing is the hardest type of editing to nail down.
In line editing, the editor looks at your book line by line and analyzes each sentence.
In line editing the editor gets involved with the trees, line by line, and I'm not just referring to comma faults and misspelled or misused words.
Yet, as I mentioned in my introduction, we have to be careful about just taking an editor's word for it that their strength lies
in line editing.
If the book is complete, I recommend that we start with a developmental edit so that we can address any organizational or content weaknesses before perfecting the language
in a line edit.

Gene
