Just when we are badly
in need of a Striker, CB, LB and a winger....
They are
in need of a striker, but the Belgium international is not the answer.
Seems we are the only top club
in need of a striker right now.
There's no doubt that Arsenal are
in need of a striker and a winger this summer and with Wenger seeming unlikely to sign both or perhaps neither at this rate, then it's worth pointing out there's two names I think could fit the bill perfectly at Arsenal.
The Merseyside club are
in need of a striker after failing to properly replace Luis Suarez once the Uruguayan moved to Barcelona last summer.
But we are
in need of a striker / RW and a DM, because as I've said before
Plenty of England's top clubs are
in need of a striker and would love to sign Lewandowski after watching him plunder an astonishing 31 goals in 31 games for club and country this season.
We have now few hours left and still
in need of a striker and a CB at least... And I repeat, it would be the bare minimum.
Sanogo is obviously still learning his craft, so why is Campbell not playing??? If we are not
in need of a striker, I don't know what are Wenger's plans.
We are sorry if we seem ungrateful sometimes Admin, you are really doing a GREAT job making me especially happy and i don't know about any other person cause i might not comment very often but i visit this site every single day of my life to read comments from everyone and it really makes my day... So thank you very much and nevertheless, i personally am tired of reading articles of Alexis Sanchez now... I must admit i personally thought Sanchez was holding Arsenal to ransom before, until Wenger came out to say he has never asked for a transfer request and i think the club has made there intentions known that they don't want to sell him, not even to a title rival and i think that is why city are now going after mbappe, seems they are desperately
in need of a striker and if they are that desperate they should fork out 80m for Sanchez if they really need him, I LIKE THE RISK ARSENAL IS TAKING AS REGARDS SANCHEZ..
So we have been desperately
in need of another striker, because we lack strikers!
Before the world cup started in Brazil, a few of the Arsenal players had spoken to the press saying that we are
in need of a striker, and preferably a world class one.
Not exact matches
the problem isnt even giroud the problem we have is that we miss an atleast equally good
striker, lets be honest we all know that giroud is a
striker who has patches when he has his scoring patch he scores almost at a rate
of one goal / assist per game and is
in a worldclass form, the prob is if his annual dry patch comes we
need an equally good
striker
poor signings and allowing unnecessary sellings
of players not based on team
needs When Cr7 is not scoring and marcelo and casemiro become
strikers over their main roles
in the team... Players play what coaches tell them especially positioning and movements... Hard days are ahead with PSG looming..
Not only Juve don't
need Giroud because they have Higuain, Dybala, AND Mandzukic, but there's absolutely no way Wenger will allow his second choice (at the moment)
striker leave
in the middle
of the season.
As for Giroud I hope what I'm hearing is not true. You get the feeling that once Lacazette starts scoring he just won't like it.He's also another overrated player who's also hear because
of Wenger's kindness.Apart from the fact that he's good with his head I don't see the positives
of keeping here and even Welbeck. We
need players who can push Lacazette to perform and these are just not the players. They are more
of rotation players.Do you think if Welbeck and Giroud were at top form they can challenge Laca at his best?I always laugh at our
strikers though. On one hand, one doesn't fit our style
of play but at least he can finish. On the other hand, the one who fits our style
of play can't even score a goal.I can't believe we are joking with such a crucial role.I'm sick and tired
of seeing average
strikers in the club. It's been painful watching the likes
of Bendtner and Chamakh already. Now I have to cope with this.
But
in order to set a new Premier League record
of 21
in one season, the attacking midfielder
needs another four and if our
strikers and other outfield players continue to spurn chances the way we have been seeing then he might just fall short.
Arsene Wenger has now confirmed that they are
in need of adding a
striker this summer, despite having options
in Theo Walcott and Alexis Sanchez available to cover
in the absence
of Giroud.
goodness i can't believe it people will still defend him.You know something when Giroud misses many chances like at Monaco i did not criticize him even based on that you know why?its because he has always not been clinical. The only way a team can improve is by indentifying its problems and solving them.Arsenal has Giroud as the main cf and Welbeck as backup to him.Giroud has done well scoring some goals some too important but collectively he does more harm than good.Do not use moments to judge a player judge him based on content.Giroud does not excel
in many games than he excels
in games. As a main cf you
need to be consistent.I see people here saying Giroud can not dribble he cant do this he cant do that but its a bit crazy to criticize him for that because every player has his own style.Giroud limitations as a player costs arsenal and will cost us a lot. Most importantly his poor finishing which has cost us several times. Not good enough. His style
of play is ok for us but a
striker who can take on players and run behind defences very well would make us very strong and also should be clinical. For Welbeck he
needs to works on his finishing and composure by doing the basic things right. He rushes infront
of goal too much. For now he is just above average. However he can excel if he works on improving.Giroud and Welbeck will always be a pain
in arsenal's neck for most part. Some will call me stupid but hey at least i want to analyze the problem.People may support Giroud or Welbeck to lead the line next season but as the saying goes if you fool me once shame on you but if you fool me twice shame on me.Will you let Giroud and Welbeck fool you again?
Not saying we don't
need a
striker, which we definitely do, but I think even Giroud would be scoring
in front
of a midfield lineup
of Alexis, Ozil, Xhaka, Mkhitaryan and Cazorla.
FOUR HIS words arsenal
needs a strker to fill the Welbeck role, from what he spoke
of he
needs a
striker who can play wide and through the middle when
needed, base on his STATE that ASANO is fr the future i have all the confidents we will be getting a forward
in a weeks time.
Wenger has no tactics, plays his favourite players over better players, gives long term contracts to average and injury prone players, hates strong physical players, plays players out
of position, always looking for excuse like refrees and saying other teams played more
in pre season, does nt spend money on players required like if we
need strikers he will buy CAM, waits for other teams to buy top players and signs average on deadline day, calls accident when we lose, talks cohesion and mental strength when we beat terrible teams and win mickey mouse trophy like Asia cup and community shield.
This window he bought the two pieces
of the puzzle that he
needed one world class
striker in Costa and our own Cesc to boss the midfield.
Iwobi and a number
of others stand
in his way as he looks to break his way back into Arsene Wenger's starting XI, but the
striker role still
needs bolstering this summer.
«Wenger is giving the
striker the self confidence and belief that should help him to start banging more goals
in himself» i highly doubt that makes one a goal scorer... otherwise why bring about this question after welbeck has been involved
in two goals??? To me walcot is a better option because
of his finishing, smart runs, game reading, delivering during big games, good final touch and making it easier for the right back since he keeps defenders
in deep
in their half therefore, no
need for him to be defensive.
first he
need to solve his injury problems to prove himself like a good player to take
in the squad and not a wate
of space, leave that «best winger» thing... finally, he even want to play as winger, so he never would be that best winger and probably we do nt
need him because he cant play like a lone
striker.
I rally don't know what is going on with Mr Wenger he let jensen go to spurs and now he is diddling his finger around It looking like «we didn't find the quality
striker we
needed» we have a tough start with new shrewd managers around by October we could be
in the relegation zone God forbid I recommend we voice our concern now rather
in the middle
of the competition so not to embarrass our selves
in front
of our opponents
in the stands
N We
need a Top
striker There is also a difference between playing a few matches
in a one month tournament and playing a whole season
in the PL Giroud has had 4 seasons to show us what he's got and has performed admirably scoring 82 goals and two 16 goal PL seasons But to win the PL we
need a
striker capable
of scoring mid 20» a PL goals
Uhh guessing this is a question from football retards exam night... We have one quality forward (currently off form) two decent
strikers who can deliver
in bursts (but probably wouldn't make the bench
of most
of rival top 10 european clubs we aspire to match) and three hugely overrated wing players who should be nowhere near starting
in a team aspiring for top honours at home and abroad... Conclusion we
need at least 3 new attacking options
in the summer....
i get where you are going at but not a lot
of the top teams were
in the
need of a top
striker the ones who were already bought a
striker at the start i.e. chelsea and man u and man city (nolito) and tottenham,
of course there should have been other top clubs
in search
of a
striker but i think it shouldn't be a knock - down that we were the only one who triggered the clause but i agree with all the other things you said the its absurd to compare him with griez and vardy and we have to be patient with him
«Arsenal
need to be
in the market for these kinds
of strikers this month.
Funy enough last season we
needed striker to win d league bt we forfit it
in other for giroud to mk it to d world cup ok since ds window we stil hv not dress d isue, we got fabrigas
in a plata
of gold wat happen we stil forfit it cuz it wil hender ramsey nd wilshere progression, We hav campbel bt we decide to go wit our super star
striker from france should i go on same tin wit squallci over cahil
If only we can cry over the spilled milk, I would have take Higuain from Madrid over Ozil... The season before we bought Ozil our best player was Cazorla (AMF) and we were
in a desperate
need for a
striker (still we are) and Higuain was availabe for less than 30M... Ozil is good (more than good but not for Arsenal) but I think it was a panic buy
in the last minutes to pleased the frustrated fans due to lack
of actions
in that window...
For us he is a luxury, there were lots
of other priorities which
needed addressing
in 2013 like clinical
striker and defensive midfield.
There has been a lot
of debate and speculation about Arsenal and the
striker situation and I am not only talking about the question
of whether Arsene Wenger
needs to enter the transfer market this summer
in order to sign a replacement or cover for our big France international forward Olivier Giroud.
So why doesn't he plays Sanchez as our no 9??! He's way better, has the skill, pace, work rate and finishing, all he
needs is a little more discipline
in that role and he may be the +25 goal
striker we've been waiting for, he carried Barca when Messi was injured so I don't see why he's not being used as a
striker ahead
of Giroud.
Ozil definitely
needs a different type
of striker than Giroud
in front
of him, that is for sure.
the problem isnt even giroud the problem we have is that we miss an atleast equally good
striker, lets be honest we all know that giroud is a
striker who has patches when he has his scoring patch he scores almost at a rate
of one goal / assist per game and is
in a worldclass form, the prob is his annual dry patch comes we
need an equally good
striker
(3) formation flexibility — it took 20 years for Wenger to return to a back 3 and now he can't seem to choose anything but that formation... the teams
in the premiership and those we could face
in the Europa will present vastly different tactics and we
need to have a manager who can prepare this squad for this eventuality and have the fortitude to make the necessary adjustments throughout the season... I have seen nothing
in the past 6 - 7 years to suggest that he is the man to take on this challenge... I can't even remember when he changed formations when he would replace a small, pacy
striker, like during the Walcott experiment, with the lumbering Giroud...
of course this is exactly why there is no other manager
in the world that plays more players out
of their natural positions (square peg
in a round hole)
Arsenal are also
in great
need of a new
striker as they look to bring
in a player to fill
in for the injured Olivier Giroud, with little
in the way
of backup for the Frenchman at the Emirates Stadium as he faces as much as four months out.
This club
needed a lift
in the form
of a marquee signing
in the form
of a top
striker.
We
need better though but I'm
in full 100 % support
of the purchase
of Shkrodan Mustafi and Lucas Perez.Mustafi can help Koscielny now.I've been saying it here time and time again that it's not a world clsss
striker we have
needed but a clinical finisher which we have lacked for several seasons and counting.Hopefully this guy puts Giroud where he belongs which is on the bench.Though a world class
striker is good what we have lacked is someone who puts the game to bed
in clinical fashion but Arsene Wenger has listened to many people to the extent that if he can't get a world class
striker then he can get anyone. If Arsenal had a clinical finisher for some five seasons or so we coulda won the EPL then.Giroud has cost us matches and will continue to cost us matches.Giroud is half decent as someone said here the last time.I expect Perez to be much better if he can take on his man and be clinical
in front
of goal.
He had no competition and played over 50 games tbh if we had at least one
striker challenging him and he got some rest he'd
of been better and would probably be steps further
in his improvement this season unlucky for him and his injury, He burried De Gea Hart and Cabellero he just
needs to do Cech or Courtoius now!
Now with more money
in the bank than God can count Wenger still didn't spend any
of it last summer and is struggling again to address out biggest
need (
striker) this summer.
the only thing our
strikers (whoever it will be)
need to do is to convert created chances which we had plenty last season and we are going to have them this season too... So, I'll put it simple: we
need a
striker that doesn't s ** t his pants when he get
in front
of the goal and hit the g ** d ** n target and score goals!!!!!!!!
All we
needed at the last hour
of the transfer was a defender, be it
in the middle or at the back and a
striker.
The constant topic surrounding the club
in terms
of what we
need seems to revolve around
needing another
striker, which we do, but perhaps more importantly is a creative force to help feed the ammunition to El Nino and co..
you ignore the fact that arsenal have been
in need of a DM and
STRIKER since 2012 and think manner will come down?
United don't exactly look
in desperate
need of a new
striker, but could perhaps do with an upgrade on Romelu Lukaku, who has largely failed to live up to expectations since his summer move from Everton.
This is exactly the type
of versatile player that Arsenal
need right now, as he can play as a winger or a
striker, and anyone who can score 8 La Liga goals
in 10 games (while not playing for Madrid or Barcelona) is definitely worth taking a chance on, especially for a price that works out at just over 14m GBP without any haggling.
