amiibo Festival just released
on Friday
in North America, and we've given it a try.
Nintendo of Japan has introduced an all new cover plate set based
on the
amiibo costumes found
in Super Mario Maker.
Primarily
in the form of interactive figurines based
on notable Nintendo characters,
amiibo can be scanned by the Wii U or 3DS while the player is playing a compatible game to enhance the gaming experience.
While we already know that the game will be sold
in a standalone package as well as bundled with the Wolf Link
amiibo, we have very few details
on what that
amiibo will do, until now.
So if you want an good album for your
amiibo cards
in North America, you may just want to jump
on this unless we get an announcement soon.
Animal Crossing
amiibo cards Series 2 releases
on November 20th
in Europe, coming not long after the Japanese release of the second series very soon
on October 29th.
While a release date for Animal Crossing
amiibo cards Series 2
in North America has yet to be announced, it might be
on November 13th to mirror the release of
amiibo Festival here too.
Teased
on Nin - Nin Game's site as having a restock
in October, it appears that some version of Link
in amiibo form will be restocked this year.
My answer: The games that are already announced are enough for put Nintendo
in a great place
in 2015, however I think they should work more
on amiibo because having one is worthless (unless you're
in love with smash... kinda like me:P), they're not cheap and the only game that they work well with is Super Smash Bros.,
in the other games they just give you additional items that aren't either that amazing and necessary (ex: Hyrule Warriors, Mario Kart 8, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse), more I'm still waiting for what they're gonna do with Captain Toad, the game is already out but still no clue.

in Europe
on the same day!

And today, Nintendo announced that the third wave of Animal Crossing
amiibo cards would be launched
on January 14th
in Japan.
It's one week after North America,
on January 29th to be more precise, that the second wave of Animal Crossing
amiibo figures will be launched
in Europe!
Today, Nintendo of Europe announced that the second series of Animal Crossing
amiibo cards + its Collector's Album would come out
on November 20th
in Europe!
Even so, there is an option
on the Home menu (found
in the top - left corner of the home screen) for
Amiibo, but currently you can only register an
Amiibo to your profile by holding it over the touch screen.

in 3rd party games.
During this presentation, Nintendo will give us more details about the upcoming update for Animal Crossing: New Leaf, including the release date (it's most definitely coming this week, since the latest wave of Animal Crossing
amiibo cards comes out
on Thursday
in Japan).
Whether you're a die - hard Monster Hunter or an obsessive
amiibo collector, or
in fact anywhere
in between, you can set your sights
on Play - Asia right now and pick up a trio of Monster Hunter
amiibo figures depicting different characters and monsters from the franchise
in mini, adorable figure form.
This points toward the fact that Nintendo has prepared Link
amiibo based
on the hero of Hyrule's character designs
in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
In the latest trailer, Bethesda reveals that Skyrim
on Nintendo Switch will have motion controls, Zelda gear, and will be compatible with
amiibo!
Metroid: Samus Returns launches
in North America alongside a pair of brand new Metroid themed
amiibo on September 15th.

amiibo can do
in - game, the company also breaks down everything
on the site.
