The lucuma is a subtropical fruit native to the Andean valleys and produced in Peru and Ecuador; popular
in raw desserts and smoothies, this sweet, creamy and maple tasting powder can also be used as a sweetener replacement.
It works well sprinkled into smoothies or used
in raw desserts and snacks.
Cashews have a light, nutty taste, which is why they're often used
in raw desserts and vegan cheeses.
I love using it as a binder
in raw desserts and as a butter substitute in baking.
I always have them in my kitchen, and I use them in various ways: in granola, in my home - made cleansing muesli, for thickening soups,

While I often oogle the delicious looking meals,
desserts, breads etc. that you make, I have yet to attempt to mimic your prowess (shy
in the
raw kitchen).
It's been so beautifully sunny and warm
in England recently, which meant that it was time to really get into summer cooking — beautiful salads, cold wild rice and quinoa dishes, grilled summer veggies with delicious dips, mountains of guacamole with crudités, so many fruit smoothies,
raw desserts and bowls of fresh berries.
Tonight was our first adventure with
desserts and sadly, our brownies spent nearly an hour
in the oven and were still somewhat «
raw»
in the middle and slightly charred at the edges.

One of our goals is also to show how porridge can be eaten all through the day: as a
raw version to start the day feeling energized, as a super nourishing savory lunch or dinner, a healthy & wholesome sweet snack and also as a melt -

in the process of building up an arsenal of

But after looking through hundreds of cookbooks (vegan,
raw, South American, Southeast Asian, etc.) over the past couple of years, I realize that just about everybody has accepted avocado is as great
in desserts as it is
in guacamole.
