in its ability to empower individuals by expanding their perception of what is possible as well as their ability to achieve, and its ability to empower
communities by creating a safe culture conducive to

What we don't reflect on enough is how some educators are connected to the
global community, emerging trends and research, and larger conversations around reform and the direction of
global education in general — and how so many other educators are simply not tapped into that world.
Global Education can contribute to the visioning process, but it can also play a role
in the critique and the creation of new forms where social movements, indigenous and
community — non-formal learning approaches — are essential as they allow for values not central to formal learning and give voice to the collective and marginalized.
Over two - third of young people that are participate
in these
global education programs remain active
in raising more awareness
in their
communities of the benefit of
global education.
While some of these programs can be said to be effective
in raising awareness on
global education, however records shows that most of these programs focus more on literate youths
in urban rich
communities, leaving many illiterate youths especially
in rural and urban slums with little or no access to such programs.
There is an active
community of teachers working online
in the area of
global education.
Governments, civil society, religious and cultural organizations, development organizations should develop
global education framework for their countries and equally develop national action plan / strategies for its implementation especially
in schools, local
communities, religious and, cultural centres.
