The Rose Room has been closed for two years after a piece of the
plaster ceiling suddenly fell one day
in May, 2014.

The inset kitchen
ceiling was finished
in Modern Masters Lapis Venetian
Plaster which gives the right amount of «pop» to the space.
On a surface of crackled
plaster, she stenciled the Classic Damask Stencil as a «torn paper» finish on the
ceiling, breaking up the pattern
in a uniquely pleasing way.
We had our
ceiling patched and
plastered and when the crew came back from a quick lunch their entire work from the morning was lying
in sheets on the floor.
