I tried a pancake
recipe like this, with
yeast and let it rise over night
in the fridge.
I used instant / rapid rise
yeast, put the ingredients
in at room temp, made them at midnight, halved the
recipe, didn't have whole milk so I used part water and part half and half — and they turned out beautifully — loved the crunchy outside, light interior, and wonderful yeasty flavor!
Do the same if you're working with
yeast: Add one tablespoon of liquid per cup of sprouted flour called for
in the
recipe.
It's not as airy and light
in the middle as some other no - knead bread since it doesn't have as much
