The CHIC DNA Repository, co-sponsored by the OFA and the AKC / CHF, collects and stores samples of canine DNA, along with geneaological and phenotypical information that corresponds to the DNA, in order to facilitate testing and research in the future that is aimed at reducing
the incidence of inherited disease in canines.
