including appropriate
discipline designed to teach rather than punish.
Children thrive in situations when they know what's expected of them, so keep as much of the home life as normal as possible,
including your
discipline techniques.
Effective
discipline techniques at this age
include continuing to praise good behavior, focusing your
child's efforts, what they can do and change, rather than innate traits (such as «you are smart»).

including attentiveness, self -
discipline, organization, memorization and the abilities to plan, think and work with others.
