The worst offenders
include hydrogenated vegetable oils (trans fats), sugar, caffeine, alcohol, red meat, excess dairy, processed foods, and refined carbohydrates.
It changes from brand to brand, but a quick skim of ingredients lists from some of the major brands reveals a slew of added oil
included hydrogenated vegetable oils (trans fats) salt, artificial flavour and colour, and preservatives.

The only specific foods I don't eat
include vegetable oils (other than extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil) and
hydrogenated fats, any non-fermented soy products, refined sugars, or food with artificial colours or flavours.
Trans fat — a big source of which is partially
hydrogenated vegetable oils — has been the food villain of choice since 2006, when the FDA required companies to
include trans fat content on food labels.
This «non-food» list would also
include anything containing
hydrogenated oils (peanut, soy, cottonseed,
vegetable, canola, etc), anything containing MSG, anything containing high fructose corn syrup, anything containing artificial sweeteners, and anything containing processed grains.
In addition to HVP, these
include partially
hydrogenated vegetable oils, salt, spices, artificial flavors, emulsifiers, binders, vitamins, minerals, preservatives and other ingredients, most of which are intended to enhance taste, texture, nutritional content or shelf life.
Some culprits
include modified cornstarch (thickener often made from genetically modified corn), partially
hydrogenated vegetable oils, MSG, gluten, artificial flavorings, and silicon dioxide (to prevent caking), among others.
Partially
hydrogenated fats, which
include margarines, shortenings, shortening
oils, and partially
hydrogenated vegetable oils, are even worse in that they go through the same process, but it is not brought to completion and so the final product contains trans - fats, in addition to many (dozens!!)
The cause of heart disease is not animal fats and cholesterol but rather a number of factors inherent in modern diets,
including excess consumption of
vegetables oils and
hydrogenated fats; excess consumption of refined carbohydrates in the form of sugar and white flour; mineral deficiencies, particularly low levels of protective magnesium and iodine; deficiencies of vitamins, particularly of vitamin C, needed for the integrity of the blood vessel walls, and of antioxidants like selenium and vitamin E, which protect us from free radicals; and, finally, the disappearance of antimicrobial fats from the food supply, namely, animal fats and tropical
oils.52 These once protected us against the kinds of viruses and bacteria that have been associated with the onset of pathogenic plaque leading to heart disease.
Also, remove
hydrogenated oils from your diet
including vegetable oil, soybean oil, cottonseed oil, and canola oil.

vegetable oils including cottonseed, soy, corn, canola, rice bran, hemp and grapeseed
oils; all margarines, spreads and partially
hydrogenated vegetable shortenings.
They
include heat processed partially
hydrogenated cooking and salad
vegetable oils and
hydrogenated margarine.
These bad fats
include vegetable oils (olive ok), trans fats, partially
hydrogenated oils, fried foods, margarine, oil in processed foods, etc..
