The MCA's programmatic initiatives engage our audiences in dialogues with living artists and
include innovative exhibitions of works by emerging artists, a reenergized permanent collection and rotating collection - based exhibitions, and live arts and artist commissions on view throughout the museum.

As one of the first festivals to champion VR as a dynamic form of storytelling, this year's offerings
include 33 virtual reality (VR)

Beginning with the Renaissance masters, this scholarly and
innovative exhibition examines the term «unfinished» in the broadest possible way and
includes works left incomplete by their makers, which often give insight into the process of their creation, as well as those that partake of a non finito — intentionally unfinished — aesthetic that embraces the unresolved and open - ended.
A visual and aural experience, the
exhibition feature's some of the artist's most celebrated and
innovative creations,

exhibition, Feelings has brought on a roster of iconic artists
including Lynda Benglis and legendary sculptor John Chamberlain, as well as younger, equally
innovative artists hitting the full stride of their careers like Jayson Musson and Justin Adian.
With work by both post-war artists and emerging practitioners —
including Pablo Picasso, Roy Lichtenstein, Bruce Nauman, Carolee Schneemann, Jason Rhoades, Martin Kippenberger, Elaine Sturtevant, Anna Oppermann, Tetsumi Kudo, and Andrea Zittel, among others — the
exhibition reflects the museum's expanded curatorial purview in its new home, which creates intergenerational dialogues between post-war and contemporary artists, and champions new narratives that provide insight into the most
innovative artists working today.
The
exhibition will showcase a range of work by both nominated and winning artists from the last seven years,
including some of the most
innovative and exciting artists working in Russia today across a variety of media.
In addition, Fujiwara integrates key works from the Tate collection into the
exhibition —
including paintings by Francis Bacon, Patrick Heron and Alfred Wallis and sculptures by Barbara Hepworth — in an
innovative display that mixes them with his own works.
The
exhibition at Lisson Gallery
includes Untitled (White Multiband, Vertical Strokes)(2003), incorporating glass microspheres in acrylic on canvas; multiple works from the
innovative White Band series; and recent paintings from the Black Band series; alongside the lightbox Untitled (Electric Light)(1968/2017), composed of argon and Plexiglas.
