of your caloric intake approach may never be necessary to achieve a wonderful and
healthy body.
Well, it might not be a good idea to
include a
lot of processed
food in your diet as you need to keep up - to the requirements
of an intense college schedule and a balanced and
healthy diet would help you with it.
From a dietary perspective, if you are already following a traditional real
food diet (like this one), I would make sure to also
include plenty
of bone broth and gelatin for joint healing,
lots of saturated fat from
healthy animal sources, and antioxidant - rich
foods to help reduce inflammation.
A vegetarian diet
includes food rich in nutrients, as well as having
lots of tasty, satisfying and
healthy meals.
Basic elements
of a
healthy diet
include lots of plant - based
foods like fruits, vegetables, beans, and whole grains; modest servings
of lean protein, like fish and poultry; relatively little red meat; and the use
of unsaturated fats like olive oil.
My in - flight essentials
include socks for my cold feet, my neck pillow and eye mask so I can fall asleep, my iPad for magazines, books, and podcasts,
lots of water (and some lotion) to battle dehydration, and
healthy snacks to supplement the airplane
food.
My moderate life is filled with
lots fresh, whole, real
foods including kale, lean proteins, and
healthy fats, but when I really want a glass
of red wine, a margarita, a beautiful baguette, or a chocolate chip cookie, I don't deny myself and enjoy every bite or sip.
