sensitivity analysis
including only those
studies assessed as being at low risk of bias for allocation concealment showed that results still favoured the intervention group although the treatment effect was less pronounced in the
studies at lower risk of bias (Analysis 1.8).

including cancer and the deaths of kittens (ok, maybe not), gluten has really gotten a bad rap in the past several years, probably very much in part due to the publishing of the book Wheat Belly by Dr. William Davis, the landmark
study on Non-Celiac Gluten
Sensitivity (NCGS) by Dr. Peter Gibson, and the explosion of social media in the past decade that has given an unprecedented voice to people who otherwise would have no credibility with which to garner attention towards themselves.

The

include that the no - dendro / no - Tiljander combination but that does not justify the claims made by Montford that such a combination was impossible or was not
included because it undermined the results.

They do cite a
study by Lindzen and Choi, which has shown, based on ERBE satellite observations, that the net impact of a doubling of CO2

Recently there have been some
studies and comments by a few climate scientists that based on the slowed global surface warming over the past decade, estimates of the Earth's overall equilibrium climate
sensitivity (the total amount of global surface warming in response to the increased greenhouse effect from a doubling of atmospheric CO2,
including amplifying and dampening feedbacks) may be a bit too high.

sensitivity.
This applied the Ravetz and Funtowicz NUSAP system to a variety of case
studies including an interesting
sensitivity analysis of model parameters in emissions scenarios.
The
study didn't explore anything like full ranges of key climate parameters: equilibrium climate
sensitivities below 2 K were not
included in the ensemble, only a limited range of ocean heat uptake levels appears to have been considered, and it is unclear to me to what extent the possibility of aerosol forcing being small was represented.
Some EMICs have been used to investigate both the climate of the last glacial maximum (see Section 8.5) as well as to investigate the cause of the collapse of the conveyor in global warming experiments (Stocker and Schmittner, 1997; Rahmstorf and Ganopolski, 1999) while others have been used to undertake a number of
sensitivity studies including the role of sub-grid scale ocean mixing in global warming experiments (Wiebe and Weaver, 1999).

Key Question # 1 (accuracy of screening tools):
Studies on the accuracy of screening tools will be

In a meta - analysis of 70 published
studies (
including 9,957 children and parents, and a core set of 51 randomized controlled trials with 6,282 mothers and children), Bakermans - Kranenburg, van IJzendoorn & Juffer8 demonstrated that the most effective attachment - based interventions to improve parent
sensitivity (d = 0.33, p <.001) and promote secure infant - caregiver attachment (d = 0.20, p <.001)
included the following characteristics: (1) a clear and exclusive focus on behavioural training for parent
sensitivity rather than a focus on
sensitivity plus support, or a focus on
sensitivity plus support plus internal representations (e.g. individual therapy); (2) the use of video feedback; (3) fewer than five sessions (fewer than five sessions were as effective as five to 16 sessions, and 16 sessions or more were least effective); (4) a later start, i.e. after the infant is six months or older (rather than during pregnancy or before age six months); and (5) conducted by non-professionals.
