The Chief of Staff» a delegation which includes Professor Kwamena Ahwoi, deputy Communications Minister Ato Sarpong, Greater Accra regional Chairman of the party, Ade Coker, former National Youth Organizer of the party, Ludwig Hlodze, some NDC national and regional executives will wrap up the 5 - day campaign tour with a keep fit exercise in the Ledzokuku Constituency in Sunday.

New documents filed with the Federal Election Commission show Manhattan Democratic Party chairman Keith Wright still $ 202,337.72 in the hole from his unsuccessful campaign to replace retired Harlem Congressman Charles Rangel last year — with cash owed to an array of consultants, staffers and contributors, including GOP power players like former Sen. Al D'Amato and supermarket billionaire John Catsimatidis.

Cuomo also announced that he had tapped four Republicans, including former state party Chairman Patrick Barrett and former state Sen. Michael Balboni of Nassau County, to lead his outreach to GOP voters.

Republican attendees included NYC Council Member Eric Ulrich, former NYS senator Seph Maltese and Bob Turner, former member of Congress and current chairman of the Queens Republican Party, as well as the presidents of the Queens Village Republican Club and the Rockaway Republican Club and members of those clubs.

Stakeholders of the party, who graced the meeting hosted by Tinubu at his Bourdillion, Ikoyi Lagos residence included former acting national chairman, Chief Bisi Akande, state chairman of the party, Chief Henry Ajomale, among others.

Other chieftains of the party that walked out of the venue included former governor of the state, Mr Sullivan Chime and former state party chairman, Mr Ben Nwoye.

Akeredolu was in the governor's office in company with some chieftains of the party, who included, the state's deputy chairman of the APC, Mr. Ade Adetimehin, a former member of the House of Representatives, Mr. Sunday Abegunde, a former Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Mr. Victor Olabimtan, the Chief Press Secretary to Late Dr. Olusegun Agagu, Mr. Yemi Olowolabi among others.

Other former governors on the list include Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State, who is currently the Senate's Minority Leader; Jonah Jang of Plateau State, currently serving as Senator representing Plateau North; Ali Modu Sherriff of Borno State, who recently had a controversial stint as the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party; and Chief Lucky Igbinedion of Edo State.

Party officials chose her Wednesday night from among four original candidates including former Council Member - at - Large Charley H. Fisher III; Duncan Kirkwood, Western New York advocacy manager for the Northeast Charter Schools Network; and James Blackwell, son of former Legislature Chairman Roger I. Blackwell.

6,000 other former members of the People's Democratic Party including former Deputy National Chairman of the Party, Chief Solomon Onwe joined Elechi in defecting to the APC.
