When on a gut healing diet, hardly any whole sweeteners are permitted
including coconut sugar and maple syrup.
In terms of sweetness I'm sorry that it wasn't sweet enough, I feel like they are sweet enough because the bananas add some sweetness and honey and stevia are supposed to be sweeter than most sugars
including coconut sugar.
Now, the recipe below contains two variations: the first is all - natural and
includes coconut sugar.

I used a wide variety of toppings,
including: India Tree nature's colors
sugar sprinkles in marigold, dried cranberries, dried tart cherries, salted almonds, and trail mix with nuts, dried fruit, seeds, flaked
coconut, and dark chocolate chips.

Anyway, wanted to tell you that I've started subbing out the grapeseed oil for
coconut oil in these and have long been using homemade
coconut palm
sugar syrup in place of agave in ALL of your recipes,
including your peanut sauce and other similar ones.

I adore Elana Amsterdam, the owner of ElanasPantry.com, a gluten free, grain free and

coconut flour.
We used a recipe that
included Coconut milk,
sugar, dry milk, and a couple of Tablespoons of Organic Plain Yogurt as a starter.
Other options
include sweetener (cane

I looked at some other recipes,
including the one that Karo the corn syrup company recommends, and decided to simply replace their sweeteners with with maple syrup and
coconut sugar for the filling.

sugar, corn sweeteners, invert
sugar, malt
sugar, molasses and trendy «natural»
sugars like turbinado, cane - juice extract, brown - rice extract, agave nectar, rapadura, barley malt extract, sucanat and palm and
coconut syrups.
If you want the brownies to remain
sugar free which
includes all grain flours however, you could try something like
coconut flour, desiccated
coconut, ground flaxseed or ground sunflower / pumpkin seeds.
