On your fully escorted Costa Rica tour you can expect to possibly see many of the rare Costa Rica wildlife species in their natural habitat
including everything from the endangered sea turtles, quetzal birds or scarlet macaw, to the
elusive Jaguar, tapirs, or 2 and 3 toed sloths.
Take a day tour or spend several days camping — either one provides you with the chance to encounter exotic tropical plants and birds, or to see wildlife,
including howler monkeys, crocodiles, or the tracks of the
elusive jaguar and tapir (just hope they're only the tracks).
Wildlife you might expect to see

including the quetzal, and with luck maybe even the
elusive jaguar.
Other iconic animals living here
include the giant river otters that play, hunt, and eat as a social family group, the
elusive jaguar prowling the forest for favored prey like tapir and capybara, and intimidating black caiman that reach a similar size as large crocodiles.
And there are five different big cat species that prowl the rainforest floor,
including pumas, margays, ocelots, jaguarundis, and the king of the jungle himself, the
elusive jaguar.
