including erythritol for a while, you might find feeling fuller simply because you experience fewer cravings that sweet treats might likely trigger.

Many of the ingredients used are quite expensive and not readily available at your local grocery store,
including erythritol, organic coconut oil, and organic coconut nectar.

include erythritol, organic inulin, organic stevia, and guar gum — the first three sweetener ingredients I mentioned are considered Paleo while Guar Gum, a legume extract used as a thickening agent, is technically not Paleo because it comes from the legume.

Erythritol carbs have no impact on blood sugar and can be counted as zero by diabetics and those on a keto diet — that's why I don't
include them in the nutrition info.
Some reports have also indicated mild allergic reactions to
erythritol, which

The original recipe called for maple syrup but we changed the sweeteners and
included the keto maple syrup which is a combination of monk fruit and
erythritol which are natural sweeteners that have no impact on your blood sugar.
Oh, and the carbs in the
erythritol are not
included in the analysis, because
erythritol is virtually unabsorbed in the body.
These alternatives
include agave, stevia, honey, cane sugar, rice and tapioca syrups, and
erythritol, among others.
These
include xylitol, glycerol, sorbitol, maltitol, mannitol, and
erythritol.
Polyols like
erythritol can trigger symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS),
including gas, diarrhea, and malaise.

Sugar alcohols
include sorbitol, mannitol, xylitol, lactitol, isomalt,
erythritol, and maltitol.
The list
includes Xylitol,
Erythritol, Inulin and Yacon Syrup.
More than 80 % of ingested
erythritol is excreted in the urine, the remaining metabolized by bacteria in the colon (with beneficial effects there, as well,
including nourishing bowel flora).
Although
Erythritol lists 4 g «net» carbs, the actual effective carbs are almost zero (also zero calories) so it looks like that refers to overall carbohydrates,
including sugar alcohols which have no effect on blood sugar in case of
Erythritol (see this post for more info).
You can still enjoy sweet flavors on the Bulletproof Diet,
including desserts, but use birch syrup (xylitol from trees) or
erythritol or stevia, not artificial sweeteners.
I think that the best tasting one is
Erythritol or Swerve - works great for anything
including baking.
The
erythritol and lemon juice were originally
included (in my first attempt) but I thought the cake was too sweet and these ingredients were unnecessary because the lemon curd provides both sweetness and lemon flavour.
