If you're
in the writing
game to make serious bank, or at least a good side
income (and only «blockheads» never write for some kind of
income, according to Dr. Johnson), then you need to keep up to date on industry
developments.
Maybe it would make sense for Sony to run a service like this for older
games that have reached their sales peak and use that as a way to generate
income from «dead
games», but it's not something they need to do, unlike Microsoft who are barely selling a million units of major
games that have been
in development for ages and failed to make an impact when they released.
