I mentioned above that some
games incorporate co-op play in ways that aren't very
meaningful, like adding a second player to a platforming title without any real benefit.
These segments follow the exploits of the antagonists in an attempt to add some depth to the story but what Remedy seems to have forgotten to do is to
incorporate these characters in any
meaningful way into the actual video
game itself.
That aspect of the
game wound up being the most
meaningful part for me, to see the way that people
incorporated it into their lives.
