Over the last year or
so, there have been a number of developments that suggest the beginning of a new era for ODR and an
increasing recognition that ODR can be an important vehicle for enhancing

With the government's intent
to sell
justice on the open market, it has never been a more relevant and appropriate time
to promote the Magna Carta and
increase public awareness; in doing
so achieving the important goal of prioritising
access to justice, rather than simply facilitating it.
For - profit firms like LegalZoom and Rocket Lawyer are delivering lower cost legal service options
to consumers and in doing
so, are effecting
increased access to justice.
