Once other diseases such as
kidney disease, diabetes, and urinary tract infection are ruled out, if characteristic changes to the bloodwork (
increased liver
values) are noted, then additional testing to confirm Cushing's Disease will be recommended.
An
increase in the concentration of these compounds in your cat's blood may suggest that his
kidneys are not functioning properly, although these
values must be interpreted in light of a number of factors.
