Her work has been exhibited for the last 30 years and has held several roles such as independent curator, art restorer, arts writer and was Curatorial Assistant at the New Mexico Museum of Fine Arts.
It also includes an interview with the artist by independent curator Hans Ulrich Obrist, an essay by Maria Lind, Director, Centre for Curatorial Studies, Bard College, New York, and a work of fiction inspired by Parreno written by IMMA Director Enrique Juncosa.
Cattelan's first solo show in this country since 2003 celebrates the artist's return to sculpture after several years of publishing and curatorial work, including his 2002 co-founding of The Wrong Gallery in Chelsea, New York, his collaborations on Permanent Food (an occasional journal comprised of altered pages torn from other magazines) from 1996 - 2007, his co-editorship of Charley (a conceptual project and independent series on international contemporary artists) from 2002 — present, and his curation of the Caribbean Biennial in 1999 and the Berlin Biennial in 2006.
A local curatorial advisory committee consisting of: Ximena Caminos (Director / Chief Curator, Faena Art Buenos Aires and Faena Forum Miami Beach), Tami Katz - Freiman (Independent Curator, former Chief Curator, Haifa Museum of Art), Brandi Reddick (Curator / Artists Manager, Miami - Dade County Art in Public Places), and @Chana Chana Budgazad Sheldon (Executive Director, Locust Projects), who are making significant contributions to the Miami art community, selected the final works.

Visitors can take their pick from Design Miami, a showcase of eye - catching and inspiring contemporary design work; Art Miami's Context show which showcases emergent artists worthy of extra attention; Tiger Strikes Asteroid's Satellite Art Show, which focuses on independent, non-commercial curatorial approaches; NADA, or the New Art Dealer's Alliance, which engages emerging methods of art curating and dealing; and visitors can even take their turn on a giant, kaleidoscopic roller rink on the beach.
