However, other
independent analyses have, based on a range of assumptions, methodologies and data sources, attempted to estimate the impact of the INDCs on
temperature leading to a range of average estimates below, at or above 3 degrees C. Importantly all deliver more or less similar emission levels in 2025 and 2030 and all confirm that the INDCs, if fully implemented, are an important advance on previous scenarios.

independent analysis as a check of these [satellite
temperature] important results.»
The core finding is that
temperatures over the continents have warmed about 1 degree Centigrade (1.8 degrees Fahrenheit) since 1950, matching earlier
independent analyses by American and British climate researchers that had been repeatedly attacked by climate skeptics and opponents of curbs in greenhouse emissions.
Water vapour partial pressure is an exponential function of
temperature: it just amplifies the CO2 effect — more or less
independent of where you are (It requires careful spectral
analysis to say so — part of all model codes).
We demonstrated that any
independent researcher can download station data directly from primary sources and undertake their own
temperature trend
analysis.
Analysis of the reconstructed
temperature and radiative forcing series [Crowley, 2000] offers an
independent estimate of the transient climate - forcing response rate of 0.4 - 0.7 K per Wm -LRB--2) and predicts a
temperature increase of 1.0 - 1.7 K in 50 years.
Furthermore, there have been
independent measurements /
analysis of dew - point
temperature from radiosondes in the Tropics.
The overflows further north are (i) unlikely to have an influence on the
temperatures in the «cold blob», and (ii) are largely
independent of the AMOC in the open Atlantic — at least that is suggested by a model simulation of the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology in Hamburg, for which we show a correlation
analysis in Fig. 2b in our paper.
Multiple
independent analyses of long - term
temperature records show average global
temperatures rising as greenhouse gas concentrations have risen.
This finding, though based on uncertain reconstructions of past ENSO behaviour, is entirely
independent of previous
analyses confined to the restricted instrumental climate record...... such a trend would seem consistent with the response to the general increase in explosive volcanism during the fifteenth — nineteenth centuries in conjunction with reduced solar irradiance that is responsible for the millennial cooling trend of Northern Hemisphere mean
temperature before modern anthropogenic warming.

temperatures were the warmest since modern record keeping began in 1880, according to
independent analyses by NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies and NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information.
Berkeley Earth, a California - based non-profit research organization, has been preparing
independent analyses of global mean
temperature changes since 2013.
«Obviously the GISTEMP [Goddard Institute for Space Studies
Temperature]
analysis is
independent of that and records or trends in its index stand alone,» Schmidt told The New American at the time, though most of the establishment media seemingly never got the memo or bothered to ask the question.
Earth's 2016 surface
temperatures were the warmest since modern recordkeeping began in 1880, according to
independent analyses by NASA and NOAA.
These synchonise at points of inflection of the surface
temperature record — but are quantitative
analysis independent of the
temperature records.
And
independent analysis shows that these targets will significantly bend down the global emissions curve, limiting global
temperature rise to 2.7 degrees Celsius by the end of the century, compared to 4.1 to 4.8 degrees that would happen without action.
The statistical manipulation of raw measurement data of CO2 concentration in air from both within polar ice and atop a volcano in the middle of the pacific requires no less scrutiny by
independent expert statisticians than the
temperature analyses warranted.

independent analysis was performed by Clear Climate Code who also compared the
temperature data from dropped stations versus kept stations.

independent researcher can download station data directly from primary sources and undertake their own
temperature trend
analysis».
Earth's global average surface
temperature has risen as shown in this plot of combined land and ocean measurements from 1850 to 2012, derived from three
independent analyses of the available data sets.
