Additionally, it appears that resilience is reflected strongly on mental health (Tugade & Fredrickson, 2004), since
individuals with higher level of resilience are dealing with
adversity more effectively (Bonanno et al., 2007), they are also more protected
against depressive symptomatology and they can improve their psychosocial function (Pietrzak et al., 2010).
