The phrase
"individual stations" refers to separate or independent places or areas where people can do their own work or activities without being disturbed by others.
Full definition
This was true in climate research when
individual station data was recorded and average conditions calculated and published.
Basically, you can run ads across the country from a single interface — you won't need to work with different ad reps
for individual stations or chains of stations.
In general, climate trends are often difficult to detect in data
from individual stations because each station is subject to local effects.
The outer knob is for gross movements, such as switching among satellite radio genres, while the inner knob is to tune
among individual stations.
Using that conclusion, what if on looking
at individual station data on an annual basis we find that some years the trend indicates a UHI effect and other years in shows an anti- UHI effect and perhaps other years no effect?
This is accomplished by concatenating copies of
individual station records and then making appropriate adjustments for artificial (non-climate related) discontinuities.
As a result it performs well when presented with discontinuities
in individual station records in well sampled regions, however we might expect it to have problems when faced with the sparsely sampled and rapidly warming Arctic.
Even better statement would be «Finding problems
with individual station data somehow affects computer climate model projections or it really should because you can't rely on a model that does not use real data for confirmation».
The comparison of the reanalysis with the unadjusted and adjusted station data indicates that the reanalysis can be used to detect the inhomogeneity of
individual station observations resulting from nonclimatic biases.
The DTV maps tool can give you added information
about individual stations by clicking on the Gain / Loss map located within the results of each station.
The CRB also added a new charge of $ 500 a year
per individual station — which in Pandora's case, with its millions of personalized channels, would be catastrophic.
These
unique individuals stationed throughout the galaxy may offer players custom weapons and specialized modules with which to adapt their ships to their own exploration and combat styles.
Good luck with that whole «it's a grid
so individual station bias won't matter» thing... (8000 boxes, 1500 stations... do the math...)
The stench of denial by Watts et al. is quite overpowering now, and McIntyre has been reduced to desperately cherry
picking individual stations and spinning the data to reinforce his denial and to use as fodder for fellow deniers like Watts.
One thing I'm thinking here in this thread is that Climate Science should «un-cook» all the «cooked spaghetti» lines and show the raw series — just as, to regain trustworthy temperature records, we
need individual station data history and local urbanization history, rather than using gridded / cooked data that are probably inadequately corrected for UHI etc..
To be perfectly honest,
most individual station apps aren't overly great, but they can be good enough if you just want one radio station without all of the additional stuff added in.
Prepare individual stations according to seating charts and verify mise - en - place levels; lead mis - en - place practices to optimize serving efficiency and support staff.
This is accomplished by concatenating copies of
individual station records and then making appropriate adjustments for artificial (non-climate related) discontinuities or «jumps» in the data.
