inflated, this is ridiculous as there's no evidence this would've happen.
Sure, he could have gone out and signed a
player like Austin at an
inflated price, but that would be a massive gamble and if the
player did not turn out as hoped, those fans wanting Wenger to sign anyone in the window, would be the same ones slating Wenger
for buying him in the first place.
