First3Years recently invited Dr. Kate Rosenblum of the University of Michigan to the DFW area to share more about
new directions and emerging research
in making developmentally
informed decisions
in working with young children and their families.
While they rightfully take their place
in the gallery of greats, what Gayford's book eloquently traces is that while
new art incubated
in London might be
informed by
work that came immediately before, the
direction of the
new artists» reaction will never be predictable.
For the past several months, she has been supported by a LACMA Art + Technology Lab grant
in a research phase to
inform future
work, and will be talking publicly about
new directions in her practice for the first time.
