The Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, on Tuesday said the dearth
of infrastructural development in Osun State before 2010 necessitated the urgent need to borrow and change the face of the state.

«Governor Bello has said that apart from
ongoing infrastructural development in the state, long lasting institutional reforms that will be the bedrock of an organised and functional system are ongoing to put in place a system which runs on principles of equity, fairness, justice, and one which rewards for merit and diligence.
«There is no town or village in Osun that has not been touched interms of
infrastructural development by our administration and with what we have seen happening to our oil, showed that we can no longer depend on it, therefore, I want to implore us to pay our taxes for us to continue to enjoy government,» the governor emphasised.
He also stressed on the point that President John Mahama is putting the Ghanaian economy on solid rocks to ensure no storm brings it down hence the massive
infrastructural development going on nationwide and urged Ghanaians to vote and retain the NDC in power for a continuation of the good works of government.
The recent shock to the Nigerian economy highlighted the fact that the Federal Government does not have the necessary balance sheet to provide the much
needed infrastructural development required for the country.
Speaking during the ceremony, Amosun explained that the project, which was in collaboration with the European Union and German Government under the Nigerian Energy Support Programme, was in line with his administration's rural
