I've experimented with this

almond butter, where the only
ingredient is
almonds (no added oil) works the best for texture.

recipes online, I just opened my dried fruit and nut drawer and grabbed a few desirable
ingredients, namely, coconut flakes, chia seeds, coconut flour, sliced
almonds, cacao nibs, dried peaches, peanut
butter and agave.
As long as you have the basic paleo staples (coconut oil,
almond flour, coconut flour, coconut milk,
almond butter) and a well - stocked spice cabinet, you will have most of the
ingredients on hand for these
recipes.
I had some leftover
ingredients from last weekend's
recipes, so I made another half - dozen Dark Chocolate Pumpkin
Almond Butter Cups, Pumpkin Breakfast Cookies, and roasted up some butternut squash and Brussels sprouts.
I tried this
recipe again this morning, this time with
almond butter, and it was inevitably hard to mold let alone touch with fingers due to all the moist
ingredients.
